To plan and deliver a Hospitality and Catering curriculum to KS4 students, supporting them to successfully complete appropriate KS4qualifications, including the WJEC GCSE Technical Award and the Gateway Vocational Award/Certificate? To undertake the role of tutor, supporting students social and emotional development, including the delivery of PSHE? Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document? Meet the expectations set out in the Teachers StandardsKey Duties:? Plan and teach well-structured lessons to classes, following theschools plans, curriculum and schemes of work? To support students social and emotional developmentthrough the role as tutor, including teaching PSHE, supportingand encouraging disaffected students to engage witheducation, building effective relationships with parents/carers.? Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs,progress and achievements of students, making accurate andproductive use of assessment? Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs ofstudents? Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge? Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge throughwell planned lessons? As a students key tutor, to liaise with schools and otherprofessionals to develop Pupil Passports/ support plans for allstudents, taking account of learning and pastoral needsincluding safeguarding?
