Warwick School is seeking to appoint a Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant from September 2025 for an initial period of 12 months with the possibility of extending for a further year. The post is likely to suit someone who may be considering teaching as a career. In future the cost of QTS for a suitable candidate could be available.For people who do not want to live on site but are able to offer someteaching, then either full or part-time will be considered.Key Duties and Responsibilities To support the development of a pupil with specific needs as well as contributing to the Academic Support and SEN Department.Assisting with the teaching and support of pupils on the SEND/ Academic Support registerTeaching small group lessons as directed. The ability to teach GCSE level Maths is required. In addition, the ability to support science subjects to GCSE level would be desirable.Maintaining pupil records and carrying out administrative tasks, particularly for those pupils who have an EHCP or have other pastoral needs.Salary:For people who do not want to live on site but are able to offer some teaching then either full or part-time will be considered.
