We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Room Leader / Senior Early Years Educator / Childcare Practitioner who has great leadership and team management skills.Scroll down the page to see all associated job requirements, and any responsibilities successful candidates can expect.Working as the Room Leader / Senior Early Years Educator / Childcare Practitioner you will work alongside the management team to provide a high level of professional leadership and management to all playroom-based staff and to ensure that all children receive the highest possible standards of care and education.As the Room Leader / Senior Early Years Educator / Childcare Practitioner you will support the nursery school to comply with all regulatory requirements, provide a high standard of care and education, support playroom staff in their roles and maintain positive working relationships with staff, parents and carers.APPLY TODAYIf this job looks like your ideal position, then please send in your CV as soon as possible for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as a Room Leader / Senior Early Years Educator / Childcare Practitioner include:Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to by all staffPromote a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation StageEnsure appropriate planning and assessment is in place and is accurately maintained by the appropriate staffSupport the development of good practice in relation to special educational needs and inclusion.Provide leadership and support to all playroom-based staff to enable them to establish and maintain professional positive working relationships with both colleagues, parents and carersDeploy staff effectively to ensure the required standards are maintainedEnsure the effective implementation of the companys keyperson system and allocate key children appropriatelyEnsure that all children are kept safe, and that staff are confident to follow safeguarding proceduresImplement and support others in delivering the EYFS in line with current practice and guidelinesDevelop and maintain professional working relationships with relevant outside agenciesProactively promote the nursery to current and potential parents/customers including in the wider communityAdhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and undertake a shared responsibility for cleanliness and health and safety throughout the nurserySupport, supervise and mentor playroom-based staff and studentsIn conjunction with the management team identify, address and support in individual training needs and self-development such as supervisions and appraisalsAssume additional management responsibilities as and when requiredCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSLevel 3 Early Years qualificationChild protectionSound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculumAble to ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of Safeguarding processes and proceduresAble to participate in child observations and assessments with a strong understanding of child developmentAbility to communicate confidently with adults and childrenAble to work well within a teamGood verbal and written communication skillsDESIRABLEFood and Hygiene Level 2SafeguardingPrevent DutyFGMPaediatric First AidSENDCOSelf-RegulationTPBN1_UKTJ
