You will be responsible for managing and growing the parts sales and ensuring our customers both internal and external receive first class customer service.You will need proven experience with people management and leadership, extensive parts and purchasing knowledge with demonstrable results of implementing effective business strategies.About usCordwallis Group is a family owned and run business since 1971, we've grown steadily and represent Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, MAN Truck, Isuzu Truck and Mercedes-Benz Truck across London and the Thames ValleyWe have four very well established dealership locations in Reading, Maidenhead, Heathrow and Bicester, providing vehicle sales, parts and servicing along with Cordwallis Vehicle Contracts. We are a one stop shop for commercial vehicles!On Target Realistic Earnings (OTE) up to 55,000 per annumBasic Salary up to 45,000+ depending on your experience to date (both technical and soft skills)Basic hours are 40 per week Monday to Friday (60 min unpaid break) plus occasional Saturday mornings paid at 1.5 rate (7.00am to 12 Noon - if required)Bonus up to 10,000 per annum available on reaching targets (CXi, CTO and Labour Sales)Company vehicle and fuel card/laptop/phoneResponsibilities:Develop and implement a parts sales strategy (e.g. increasing the number and value of customers) for the Branch in agreement with the Ops DirectorEnsure parts purchase, parts sales and profit margin targets are achievedPromote parts sales and maintain the customer databaseConduct customer visits to increase the customer base and maintain relationships with existing customersTo be continuously and consistently conscious of customer needs, providing at all times the highest level of courtesy and service, and to promote customer satisfaction and dealership manufacturer ratings (CXI / CXM / Customer CARE)To lead, motivate, coach, appraise and develop the team of parts advisors and drivers to achieving their personal objectives, required accreditations, that is in line with your departments goalsSupervise and control the daily activities of the Parts Department staff, develop a team environment to ensure a high level of customer service is offered and maintainedParticipate in personal development and attend training courses both internally and externallyEffectively control the parts surcharge, warranty, contract maintenance and PDR programmes, ensuring that all returns are made within the guidelinesControl all stock ordering and stock checkingEnsure that stock-turn and obsolescence are in line with targetsProcess any parts related enquiries giving the correct identification and information requiredMaintain up-dated displays at all times, providing high quality merchandising of parts and accessoriesEnsure that all procedures for handling cash, credit / debit card accounts are adhered to in accordance with CWG policiesMaintain the Parts Department standards, adhere to and uphold all ISO & Brand audit requirementsComply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, COSHH requirements, company policies and standard procedures at all timeCompetencies required:Customer-focused and fully committed to delivering the highest professional standardsEnthusiastic, adaptable and confident with a have a positive 'can do' attitude and willingness to motivate and manage a team and be driven to succeedExceptional organisational skills Exceptional communication skillsResilient, thorough and accurate when completing a task with strong attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to use all appropriate modules of the Dealer Management System (Kerridge/Autoline), particularly Point of sale, Workshop Loading and Sales LedgerAdvanced IT skillsStrong Numeracy and Literacy skillMore about us!Manufacturer training programmes available we will support you with your desired career progression level 25 Days Annual Leave plus Bank HolidaysAdditional leave with service loyalty (3yrs / 5yrs / 7yrs / 10yrs)Holiday+ Purchase Scheme (up to 3 days available to purchase)Statutory Pension SchemeAccident Policy for all employeesUniform/PPE suppliedFree Class IV MOT per yearMental Health First AidersReferral bonus if you introduce your technician friends (1500!)Paternity pay Full 2 weeksCompany uniform providedCycle to work schemeWorking for a friendly family business!Parking on siteWorking for Cordwallis is not just about the job - its about you too.
