With a turnover of circa 20m you will be responsible to produce all management accounts through a period of change and restructure.Initially the contract will be for a 6-month period with the likelihood of a further 3-month extension.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting : Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.Budgeting and Forecasting : Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.Variance Analysis : Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying and explaining variances.Team Management : Lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring high-quality financial reporting and compliance.Compliance : Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.Qualifications:Education : Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Professional Certification : Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA).Experience : Significant post-qualification experience in management accounting.Skills : Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, proficiency in financial software, ideally Sage 50, and advanced Excel skills.Behavioural Skills:Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy in financial reporting.Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.TPBN1_UKTJ
