Job Title

Were currently seeking a Project Director for our client to lead the delivery of a landmark construction project in excess of 100m. This is a senior leadership role within a well-established Tier 1 contractor, responsible for overseeing the project from tender stage through to completion.Reporting to the Regional Director, youll play a key part in shaping delivery strategy, managing risk, and driving commercial and operational success across the full lifecycle of the project.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-ConstructionLead the tender process alongside estimating, commercial, and planning teamsDevelop procurement strategy and oversee key supply chain engagementManage internal start-up meetings and produce method statements and programmesIdentify and manage project risks through a comprehensive risk registerConstruction DeliveryOversee mobilisation and delivery planning through a detailed Project Execution Plan (PEP)Ensure all contract documentation is in place and compliantDrive delivery performance across quality, health 'safety, and programmeManage stakeholder and client relationships throughout the buildPost-ConstructionImplement a proactive client aftercare strategyEnsure timely resolution of defects and obtain the Certificate of Making Good DefectsCapture client feedback and build positive long-term relationships for future workWhat Were Looking ForExtensive experience in leading large, complex construction projects (100m+)Strong commercial acumen and contract management skills (e.g. CVRs, PEP)Excellent leadership, communication, and client management abilitiesChartered status or professional membership (e.g. MCIOB, CEng MICE) preferredSound understanding of health, safety, environmental, and fire regulationsFamiliarity with BIM and modern construction methodologiesDesirable:NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent HSE trainingBackground in complex, multi-disciplinary technical projectsStrong network and profile within the UK construction sectorReady to take the lead on projects that make a difference?Apply now!
