Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Referral Officer for a local authority based in North London. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for children's social care referrals, gathering and processing vital information to ensure timely, accurate, and appropriate support for children and families. Key Duties: Act as the first point of contact for professionals and the public, handling enquiries and referrals sensitively and efficiently. Gather, input, and maintain accurate information on electronic systems to support prompt decision-making and safeguarding responses. Collaborate closely with social workers, managers, and MASH partners to ensure timely and appropriate service delivery. Provide high-quality administrative support, including managing records, responding to enquiries, and contributing to performance monitoring. Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: Proven experience in a busy administrative role, with strong organisational and multitasking skills. Confident using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and maintaining accurate digital records Experience handling sensitive information with professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality. Background in working within children's services or a safeguarding environment is desirable.
