The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the quality manager and the wider production and operations team to improve site quality.If you are an experienced quality professional, with a background in food manufacturing or a similar industry, apply now for an immediate response!The Job you will do:To cover Quality Manager role during holidays/absence.Support with holiday cover when required for shift inspectors.Completion of Daily GMP audits to ensure site complies with BRC requirements, internal procedures & policies, and product traceability is maintainedInspect all completed job packs and ensure completed correctly to maintain product traceability and any corrective actions are carried out.Supporting, developing, sharing experience with Shift Inspectors.Designated person for new staff training in regards of quality requirements/expectations on the factory floorMonitor employees to ensure no prohibited items brought onto the factory floorMonthly auditsSupporting in external audit preparation & assisting during the customer/third party audits.Raising internal non-conformances where site or product doesnt comply with internal procedures/BRC Standard. Ensuring non-conformances are closed out in the timely manner with the team.Raising Scrap Authorisations & registering it on internal logResponsible for managing all non-conforming products/returns on site, ensuring EFACS is maintained and up to date.Proactively seek and identify areas for Quality ImprovementProvide data analysis for Quality investigations where and when requiredAbout you:You must have relevant experience as a quality professional within the food and drink (or similar) manufacturing industryHolding a BRCGS Accreditation is essential.You will be detail oriented and solutions focusedIdeally you will have experience deputising for a quality manager.TPBN1_UKTJ
