Key Responsibilities: To manage, develop and support builder’s merchants and key accounts across your region, to ensure we retain & improve its market position. Tracking and winning projects with new clients and customer base. To develop and grow your own ledger of builder’s merchants and key accounts. Managing builder’s merchants and key customer relationships in your region will be part of your remit, maintaining a partnership approach and adding value to relationships by supporting and encouraging their activities. You will form part of a regional sales team. 2.Key accountabilities Key Points Route to market: Builders’ merchants, groundworkers and industrial applications. Plan daily face-to-face visits with customers. Prospect new customers. Liaise with internal sales support and other key stakeholders. Responsible for quoting all enquiries and tenders for both sand and brick. Analyse business figures on a weekly basis. Identify market trends whilst looking for new product opportunities. 3.Job requirements The role holder is expected to have: A background in selling construction products, previous field sales experience, services or building materials to a relevant customer base, essential for you to succeed in this role. Naturally persuasive, creative and self-motivated you will be able to recognise opportunities; you will have a strong communication style, an approachable attitude. You will possess relevant experience within a construction materials sales environment and will be able to demonstrate previous success. Geographical knowledge of the southern area, east and west. IT Literate, knowledge of CRM systems would be beneficial.
