You must hold an appropriate Category C + E driving licence and have high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.Day-to-day dutiesCarrying out periodic safety inspections of all HGVs to DVSA standardsFault diagnosis on hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systemsAttending broken down or accident-damaged vehicles, repairing as requiredFitting and removing a large range of ancillary equipment, accessories and liveryCompleting the appropriate paperwork accuratelyUpdating internal computer systemsEnsuring all relevant legislation and health and safety procedures are adhered toMaintaining work areas in a safe and clean conditionCarrying out other duties as instructed by supervisory staffEssential skillsPrevious experience and an HGV Level 3 automotive qualificationYou must hold a Category C + E driving licenceAbility to carry out repairs in accordance with DVSA and the Group Operators licenceAbility to work with minimum supervisionStrong communication skills and ability to be a team playerHigh standards and a commitment to accuracyOur CultureArnold Clark is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
