COPA Resourcing Group is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Contract Class 1 Tramper based in Scotland. Our client is a reputable company in the logistics sector, specialising in general haulage with a focus on providing reliable transport solutions across the UK. They are seeking a dedicated HGV 1 Driver to join their team who is ready to take on the challenge of working with curtain-sided trailers. This is an ongoing role with the potential to transition into a permanent position after a successful 12 weeks. Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, adhering to all road safety regulations. Transport goods using curtain-sided trailers across various locations in the UK. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any issues to management promptly. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections. Manage overnight stays and maintain the required documentation for expenses. Valid HGV Class 1 driving license. Proven experience as an HGV 1 Driver with a strong understanding of UK road networks. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
