The business have a portfolio of market leading brands, and they are enjoying a significant period of growth.They are expanding their On Trade sales team with the recruitment of a Customer Development Manager on an initial 12 month contract.Field Based – Central Scotland£38,000 - £40,000 + car allowance + 10% bonus + benefitsKey Responsibilities:Professional management of a portfolio of customer accounts to meet and exceed budgeted volume and value salesIncrease distribution of our portfolio and grow rate of sale within a large and diverse customer base, developing robust JBPs/JMPsDifferentiate our brands by creating and executing innovative in-outlet activation, striving to secure maximum visibility of our brandsBuild and develop relationships with key customers and groups within your territory, becoming the go-to supplierTrain and educate in outlet team members to deliver perfect serves and collaborate to create new and exciting cocktails, delivering increase ROSProactively seek out new business opportunities to grow your on-trade customer baseUnderstand and deliver insight to the business on weekly and monthly customer performance, drive action from this and deliver incremental growthEnsure accurate internal communication to supply team re promotions/activations/changes to distribution are kept up to dateCross functional working within the UK business and international departments.Develop excellent product knowledge and critically be aware of all market trends across beers wines and spiritsExperience and skills required:Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or related field within the on-tradeBrands drinks experience and use in cocktails would be advantageousEntrepreneurial and ambitious self-starter with the ability to achieve targets and effectively organise own work scheduleStrong communication skills (both written and oral)Strong commercial/financial understanding, together with intellect and curiosity to interpret performance, recommending appropriate actionsAbility to manage projects and multi-task whilst building strong and positive relationships at all levels (internal and external)Comfortable managing some key accounts, building strong commercial relationshipsAbility to flourish with minimal guidance, being pro active and able to handle uncertaintyProficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointPassionate about spiritsIf you would like to learn more about this opportunity, please contact Richard Steele at Alexander Steele Recruitment.
