We're seeking an experienced Grid Connections Manager to lead the connection process from development through energisation, working closely with DNOs, TOs, ICPs, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery. (Delivery focus!).Key Responsibilities:Manage the full lifecycle of grid connections for BESS projectsReview and manage connection offers, payments, and milestonesCoordinate with key stakeholders including network operators and consultantsOversee grid design, cable routing, and compliance with regulatory requirementsAct as the technical point of contact for grid-related development and construction activitiesIdeal Candidate:Strong knowledge of UK grid connection processes (DNO, TO, NESO)3+ years' experience in grid connections for renewable or storage projectsExcellent stakeholder management and technical communication skillsDegree in Engineering or Renewable EnergyExperience with DIgSILENT or similar tools is a plusThis is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of clean energy and play a key role in scaling energy storage across the UK.Reach out to discuss the role in more detail.
