This is a senior role for an experienced Construction Director to sit on the Senior leadership team reporting into the MD and working across all projects in the region with a focus on driving consistency, standards and improvement on project delivery. This is an exciting role for a true builder who takes great pride in delivery, operational excellence, someone who can identify problems and get involved in all departments. The ideal Construction Director The ideal Construction Director will come from an operations background and be very strong on project planning, programming, quality, sustainability, health and safety. Have a good understanding of design and must know how to do sequencing, metrics and know production rates from a planning perspective. Experience working for a tier 1 main contractor and have core people management and leadership skills. Construction Director responsibilities: Communicate with all departments across all projects and scrutinise programme, ensure engineering excellence and provide functional leadership. Highlight all the issues and then pass to regional director to rectify and then inform the MD. Drive consistency, standards and improvement. Drive focus and develop opportunities to enhance our delivery and customer offering by exploring industry best practice.
