This vital role involves delivering end-to-end on-site planning integration for all permanent building cranes across the project. As the first of the UK's next generation of nuclear power stations, HPC is both high profile and high complexity. You'll be responsible for coordinating delivery, on-site assembly, installation, commissioning and maintenance activities across multiple interfaces and delivery areas.Responsibilities:Deliver end-to-end planning integration across supplier, area, construction and integrated work schedulesEnsure resource loaded schedules are developed and maintained consistently with overall Project schedulesPhysically validate access availability and work progress in the fieldAssist Project Manager in developing and implementing program execution strategiesMaintain effective stakeholder communications across all levelsAnticipate, manage and resolve planning issues within the contract packagesIdentify and mitigate planning risks while facilitating issue resolutionEnsure lessons-learned and knowledge-capture are practiced as business as usualInterface with other programs to maintain high-level project progress visibilityCoordinate across five HPC delivery areas spanning nuclear and conventional islandsExperience Required:Proficiency in Primavera P6 planning softwareQuantity Surveying qualifications and/or experienceDemonstrated leadership experience in complex projectsWorking knowledge of CDM RegulationsStrong numeracy, analytical and critical reasoning skillsExcellent presentation, influencing and facilitation skillsExperience in engineering design, contract and field execution strategiesProven track record managing complex contractsExperience in cost control, risk management, scheduling and change managementSuccess in engaging multi-level stakeholders in regulated environmentsDesirable Qualifications:Degree in engineering, construction or related fieldProfessional Project Management qualification (e.g., APM PPQ)Experience with FIDIC commercial arrangementsUnderstanding of nuclear quality assurance and controlExperience in resource levelling and schedule optimizationSalary, Hours & Location:Site-based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset450 PAYE to 585 UMBRELLA per dayLong Term, Full timeThis role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the UK's future energy strategy through one of Britain's largest nuclear infrastructure projects.
