Their team of highly-qualified mechanical andelectrical engineers have many years of experience in all aspects of buildingservices engineering: from preliminary planning and construction management tosupplementary services upon completion. The office has a relaxed, flexible culture andregular social events take place.Your new roleWorking within amulti-disciplined team, you will be responsible for generating quality,accurate and detailed records of Building Services engineering projectdocumentation, working within the requirements of the project BIM executionplan.You will produce 2Dlayouts/ schematics using AutoCAD as well as 3D BIM models, generating 2D/ 3D/layouts/ sections/ schematics, to include information modelling using RevitMEP; as well as clash detection using Navisworks.Setup drawings and make them ready for the team to work onReview project files for compliance with Standards/protocolsImplement best practice proceduresAssisting Engineers in drawing productionProduce accurate 2D drawings, 3D modelsCoordinating drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines.Helping to technically deliver BIM/CAD projects in the role of CAD and BIM coordinationCreating clash detection reports and resolving issues with the support of the Engineering TeamFamily creation and input for developing standard details and proceduresAble to meet tight deadlines and able to work alone or with a teamWhat you'll need to succeedProficiency with software such as Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks - examples of work will be requested at interviewAn understanding of the requirement for building services co-ordination - working to have knowledge of BS 1992, PAS 1192 and BS8541Previous experience working in a Building Services consultancy environmentFamiliar with assurance processes, codes of practice, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentationEligible to pass criteria for security clearance and airside pass applicationsPositive outlook and self-motivated.Good communication and interpersonal skills.What you'll get in return38,000 to 42,000 (DOE)Car allowance or company carPension plan - up to 6% matchedLife assurance scheme25 days annual leave = Bank holidaysOption to buy/sell extra holidaysDiscount scheme (including gym membership, mobile phones etc.)Family friendly policiesEmployee assistanceProfessional DevelopmentWhat you need to do nowIf you're interestedin this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, orcall us now.If this job isn'tquite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact usfor a confidential discussion about your career.Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
