Our client, a well-established and fast-paced fresh produce manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Analyst to join their dedicated team. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in fresh produce manufacturing, particularly those with a background in quality control or operational roles that included exposure to quality assurance procedures.Is this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine quality control checks on incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet company and customer specifications.Monitor product integrity, temperature, weight, appearance, and packaging against standards.Accurately record QC data and escalate any non-conformances in a timely manner.Work closely with production and technical teams to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with food safety standards.Support internal audits, traceability exercises, and investigations into customer complaints or product issues.Assist in maintaining documentation, SOPs, and records in line with BRC and customer requirements.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness on the factory floor.Person Specification:Previous experience in the fresh produce industry is essential.Experience in quality control, technical, or production roles with exposure to QC responsibilities is highly desirable.Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with food safety, HACCP principles, and retailer standards (e.g., BRC, Red Tractor) is a plus.Flexibility to work shift patterns, including weekends if required.Benefits:Competitive salaryOpportunities for training and career developmentA supportive working environment within a dynamic and growing business
