Interv_l are working with a highly successful Solar, BESS & Wind business who are on the hunt for a Senior Authorised Person. You will be responsible for the safe operation, switching, and maintenance of high-voltage networks, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety rules and regulations.All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Key Responsibilities:Carry out HV switching operations up to 33kV under safety rules.Issue and cancel safety documents (e.g., permits to work, isolation certificates).Supervise and coordinate HV works on renewable energy sites.Conduct risk assessments and ensure high standards of health and safety.Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.Liaise with grid operators, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.Requirements:Senior Authorised Person status up to 33kV.Experience working within the renewables sector (wind, solar, or BESS preferred).Strong understanding of HV/LV distribution systems and associated safety procedures.Relevant electrical engineering qualification (HNC/HND or higher).Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
