Maintenance Engineer 53,137 Lutterworth Shift Pattern: Panama (12-hour days and nights) We are recruiting a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated logistics facility in Lutterworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a cutting-edge environment, supporting the maintenance of advanced machinery across an expansive site. Salary & Benefits: Basic salary: 42,833 + 24% shift allowance (Total: 53,137) Overtime paid at 1.5x weekdays, 2.0x Sundays 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (256 total hours) Private healthcare (family cover available) 5% pension contribution Death in service (3x salary) Subsidised canteen, showers, and recreation area on site Your Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for performing both planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of automated systems including pallet conveyors, robots, wrappers, and cranes. Your day-to-day will consist of tackling breakdowns, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring the facility runs at peak efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) React swiftly to unplanned maintenance issues Carry out mechanical and electrical fault-finding Maintain equipment such as drives, bearings, shafts, sensors, and relays Ensure accurate maintenance records are kept Work on machinery such as conveyors, palletisers, autostore units, and robotics Participate in ongoing training and development programmes What We're Looking For You'll be joining a large, skilled engineering team, so the ability to collaborate is essential. We're looking for candidates who: Are apprentice trained with NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in a relevant discipline (electrical or mechanical) Have experience in maintenance roles, ideally in automated environments Are comfortable working at heights Demonstrate a proactive mindset and commitment to quality maintenance practices Have strong mechanical maintenance skills; electrical experience is beneficial Come from a background such as logistics, food, automotive, military or similar industries Why Apply?
