If you know your way around a tape measure, MIG welder, and a crew of skilled bodybuilders, this could be the role for you.You'll be leading a small but busy team focused on building bespoke tankers supporting the day-to-day running of the department while keeping quality, safety, and efficiency front and centre.Key Responsibilities:Lead, support, and motivate a team of commercial bodybuilders, welders and fabricatorsAllocate work, check quality, and ensure jobs stay on scheduleInterpret technical drawings and communicate build requirements clearlyWork closely with the Production Manager and engineering teamEnsure all health 'safety standards are maintained on the shop floorContribute to hands-on tasks when required this is a working leadership roleWhat Were Looking For:Previous experience in commercial bodybuilding or vehicle build/fabrication would be desirable although general fab/welding will be consideredStrong working knowledge of steelwork, welding, measuring, and fittingConfident reading engineering drawings and allocating workPrior team leader, supervisor, or senior fabricator experienceA proactive attitude, excellent communication, and a calm approach to problem-solvingWhats On Offer:Up to 19 per hour, depending on experiencePermanent role with a well-established and growing manufacturerClear progression routes and supportive team cultureA role where your leadership and technical skills are genuinely valuedThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and enjoys leading by example.Not quite what you're after?
