As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in the full lifecycle of electrical design projects. From control panel schematics and switchgear layouts to low and high voltage power systems, you'll be involved in both the design and delivery of complex electrical solutions. You'll support onsite commissioning, contribute to continuous improvement, and collaborate closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and technical standards.Location: Havant Salary: Up to 50,000 per annum depending on experienceWhat will you be doing? Designing complete electrical systems including control panels, UPS, and generator controllersProducing schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD softwareSupporting both low and high voltage applications in line with BS7671 and CDM regulationsCreating technical documentation including risk assessments and method statementsParticipating in FAT/SAT testing and on-site commissioningSupporting project delivery with scheduling, resource planning, and change managementWorking alongside sales teams to provide technical input for quotations and specificationsWhat do you need? ONC / HNC or higher in Electrical EngineeringProven experience in electrical design, ideally in power or control systemsStrong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulationsProficient in CAD and general IT systemsTeam player with a proactive approach and great attention to detailExperience in PLC programming is a bonusWhy join?
