DAY SHIFT - PREVIOUS AMADA PRESS SETTING PREFERRED Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.OnePlace Solutions, the Midlands leading recruitment agency, are looking for a Brake Press Setter/Operator on a temp-to-perm contract for a client located in B78 Kingsbury. This role is starting ASAP for the right candidate!Duties as a Brake Press Setter/Operator:Set up and operate Amada CNC press brake machines for the production of metal parts.Interpret and work from engineering drawings, CAD data, and specifications.Program the press brake using the machines control system (e.g., Amada touchscreen or NC9/NT-based controls).Carry out quality checks.Make tool changes and adjust machine settings for various jobs.Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of the press brake equipment.Work to tight tolerances and ensure parts are within quality standards.Report any machine faults or potential production issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.Follow all health and safety regulations and company policiesRequirements of a Brake Press Setter/Operator:Proven experience setting and operating Amada CNC press brakes.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Strong understanding of sheet metal materials and bending techniques.Excellent attention to detail and quality control.Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to work shifts or overtime when required.Hours of work:Monday to Thursday 7am to 5pm.Friday 7am to 12pm.Pay rate:Starting 14.00ph.If you are interested in this position as a Brake Press Setter/Operator, then please apply with your CV and we will be in touch with you regarding the next steps.TPBN1_UKTJ
