EstimatorBelow covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.Location: Stourbridge, West Midlands (Office-based)Hours: Full-Time | Permanent - 8am - 4.30pm Monday to FridaySalary: 28,000 - 35,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)Benefits:Competitive salary based on experienceOpportunity to work on high-end, bespoke furniture projectsSupportive, collaborative team culture within a growing businessContinued professional development and training opportunitiesInvolvement in innovative, design-led manufacturing projectsDay to Day Duties:Interpret architectural and furniture drawings (AutoCAD) to produce accurate estimates and detailed cost breakdownsLiaise with clients, designers, and suppliers to gather comprehensive project detailsCalculate material, labour, and manufacturing costs for bespoke furniture and interior fit-out projectsPrepare and submit quotations and tender documentationSupport project handovers, ensuring all commercial details are clearly communicatedMaintain and update estimates as projects evolve through design and production phasesWork closely with the procurement team to secure competitive supplier pricingEssential Skills:Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in contract furniture, bespoke joinery, or interiorsHigh numerical accuracy and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solvingAbility to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelDesirable Skills:Background in manufacturing, bespoke furniture, interior fit-out, or similar production environmentsExperience working directly with design, sales, and production teamsFamiliarity with costing software or ERP systemsAn understanding of lean manufacturing or value engineering principlesTraining:On-the-job training provided to familiarise with company-specific processes and systemsOngoing mentoring and support from senior team membersOpportunities for external training courses in estimating, design software, or project management as requiredDevelopment plans to support long-term career progression within the businessHow to Apply:If you're a detail-driven Estimator ready to contribute to beautiful, bespoke furniture projects in a collaborative, growing business, we would love to hear from you.People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment processTPBN1_UKTJ
