We are currently partnering with a Local Authority based in Great Manchester , who are recruiting for a Commercial Property Lawyer to join their growing team on a three-month locum contract with opportunities to be extended.If the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.This is a part-time position (22 hours per week), and while they can offer remote working, they are ideally looking for someone to attend the office once per week.The position is offering an hourly rate of circa 55 per hour via an Umbrella company, and the hiring manager is looking to interview and get someone started as soon as possible.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Undertaking a mixed caseload of Commercial Property matters Handling cases such as leases, licenses and sales and purchases of land, landlord and tenant matters, and disposals and acquisitions Supporting development projects including drafting and completing conditional agreements for lease Providing detailed advice in all areas of freehold and leasehold property law and to carry out research when necessary Experience required: Local Government experience desirable Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday Friday Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.
