About us Henderson Design Group is a family of contemporary home decor brands, designed to empower creativity and unleash potential.Is this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.By tapping into aspirations and lifestyles we inspire our customers to enrich their interiors, transform their homes and express their personality.For over three decades we have championed passion for wallcoverings and home decor design, growing our group into a multi-brand powerhouse in the interiors industry.Our family of brands currently consists of I Love Wallpaper, Lust Home and Lucie Annabel, with long-term ambitions to grow and expand.Role Overview Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager and working closely with a fellow Warehouse Supervisor and the Production Manager, you will oversee the safe, efficient running of two warehouse sites ( 25,000 sq ft and 15,000 sq ft).This hands-on position combines floor-level leadership with input at weekly operations meetings, ensuring stock accuracy, quality control, and a positive team culture.Key Responsibilities Team leadership 'supervision Oversee and support all warehouse operatives during your shift.Deliver daily briefings, manage rotas, and coordinate holiday and absence planning.Act as senior point of contact on site when required, making prompt operational decisions.Mentor staff, resolve disputes, and foster a collaborative working environment.Operational management Ensure safe, efficient, and accurate handling of stock across both warehouses.Coordinate workloads with the production team to maintain high quality for three distinct home-dcor brands.Supervise packaging, consumables, and stock-control processes.Monitor KPIs for order accuracy, productivity, and safety, ensuring consistent target achievement.Health, safety & quality compliance Enforce the health-and-safety management system, including inspections, incident reporting, and PPE adherence.Conduct scheduled safety inspections and maintain clear documentation.Assist in emergency response activities.Process improvement & collaboration Identify and share opportunities for continuous improvement at weekly operations meetings.Collaborate with IT, production, marketing, and e-commerce teams on initiatives such as seasonal promotions and packaging updates.Utilise Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (training provided), Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Android-based WMS devices to manage daily operations.Physical & technical duties Perform manual tasks: moving stock, packing orders, and operating equipment.Operate counterbalance forklifts safely (on-site training and certification available).Qualifications, Skills & Experience Experience Previous experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role.Proven track record managing day-to-day warehouse operations and teams.Technical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general Windows-based systems.Ability to learn and use Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Android-based WMS devices.Familiarity with (or willingness to train on) counterbalance forklift operations.Personal attributes Proactive, hands-on leadership style with sound independent decision-making.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for staff and external stakeholders.Strong commitment to health 'safety, process improvement, and teamwork.Physically fit and comfortable in a busy warehouse environment.What We Offer Growth & development Key leadership role in a rapidly evolving, family-run business with clear progression paths.Ongoing training, including forklift, first-aid, and fire-warden certifications.Culture & benefits Supportive, friendly, inclusive workplace where every team member is valued.Regular staff socials and an all-inclusive Christmas party.Generous staff discounts on our exclusive home-dcor brands.Opportunity to drive continuous improvements and make a tangible business impact.About the Team Work alongside an experienced Warehouse Supervisor and supportive IT and production teams.You will report to the Warehouse Operations Manager while collaborating closely with the Production Manageran agile, solutions-focused group that values innovation and open communication.Application Process We schedule interviews at mutually convenient times.If youre ready to bring proactive, hands-on leadership to a dynamic warehouse operation, please submit your CV and relevant certifications.We look forward to welcoming you to Henderson Design Group.Working Hours Standard: 9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m., five days per week Weekend cover: One day per week may fall on a weekend (Hours have remained stable for three years but may vary slightly as the business evolves.)
