Following a recent restructure and the development of a strong growth marketing function, the brand and comms team is now being built out separately.With a new CMO joining in June and the current interim director stepping into a permanent role elsewhere, this contractor will provide crucial leadership and continuity during the handover and onboarding period.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support a junior marketing team (currently 2 contractors and 1 permanent staff)Execute against an already-defined brand and comms strategyOffer hands-on leadership across brand, comms, and social media channelsHelp recruit and onboard 3 permanent hires (Brand & Campaigns, Content & PR, Community Manager)Elevate current campaign delivery through a test-and-learn, data-driven approachAct as a key advisor to ensure smooth transition ahead of the new CMO's arrivalIdeal Candidate:Proven experience in brand and communications leadership rolesStrong execution focus with a hands-on approachBackground in B2C and/or tech sectors preferredSocial media fluency is a plusData-driven mindset with an eye for measurable outcomesExperience managing and mentoring junior teams
