Senior Business Development ManagerThe information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.Net Zero / Decarbonisation Commercial Real Estate Central LondonWe are very pleased to bring to market a Senior Business Development / Sales Manager position with responsibility for selling Decarbonisation / Energy Efficiency / Net Zero solutions into the Commercial Real Estate Sectors here in the UK.The commercial real estate sector is a significant contributor to global carbon emissions, accounting for approximately 40% of all UK greenhouse gas emissions.We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a specialist engineering consultancy based in Central London offering decarbonisation and energy efficiency consultancy services to companies that own, operate or invest in, large commercial property portfolios.With net zero/decarbonisation targets becoming a national priority, this is an excellent opportunity to join a consultancy with an excellent reputation, and case studies gained across 10+ years specialising within the sector.Excellent salary / bonus options for the right candidate.About the role:Whilst experience selling engineering and consultancy services would be desirable, somebody with a network and history in Property is likely to be pivotal to success in this role and for the incumbent to have the correct knowledge, and network of key clients within the market.The successful candidate could potentially come from a property related industries including (but not limited to) facilities / property management, commercial real estate / sales / rentals.Youll be responsible for building relationships and networking with industry contacts such as Property Asset Managers, Portfolio Managers, Sustainability managers, Fund Managers, C-Suite and Building / Site Managers who will have an interest / potential need for responsibility in Energy Efficiency and Decarbonisation Services.Attending relevant networking / marketing events to develop and extend relationships with relevant businesses from the industry.
