Now, were looking for talented individuals who are as committed to excellence as we are to join us in this exciting journey.About the Role: Senior Manager, Commercial, VesselMan Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:The Senior Manager, Commercial, VesselMan sells VesselMan solutions for drydocking.The main purpose of the role is to generate new customers and clients through business development activities and to promote VesselMan/ ShipServ / Marcura brand awareness.VesselMan is a process and project management platform with a vision to deliverthe worlds best digital platform for dry-dockings, technical projects and datadriven repairs. This is an opportunity to join a SaaS scale-up company with global reach.You will be a key player in transforming the maritime industry into a lean andprofessional way of work by providing digital collaboration tools andstandard procedures, providing higher stakeholder value, reduced cost andensure compliance.We are looking for a sales-driven person who shares our vision to convert manualprocedures into a digital format - transforming the way maritime companiesleverage digital technologies.The right candidate has experience and a track-record from solution selling thatoptimises technical processes. You have a solid background bringing credibilityinto commercial discussions preferably from the maritime industry related tothe opportunities for digitalisation and strategic collaboration across the valuechain.You must be comfortable with management discussions, communicatingbusiness value from utilizing digital technologies and improved ways of workwithin asset management, including presentations and product demonstrations.Manage the sales pipeline and generate revenue using SalesForce. Provide regular updates on the progresses made to Management and update the relevant software that monitor the sales pipeline cycle.Establish customers' needs, assess the relevant services required and prepare the proposal to the customer. Understand the value drivers and negotiate the commercials for the relevant services.Liaise with Business Intelligence Team to develop high quality leads following the processes to drive commercial actions.Qualifications Were Looking For:Bachelors degree, MBA or equivalent7 years of sales experience preferably within Ship Management or the Maritime industryExperience using SalesForce and sales enablement platforms like Outreach.io would be an advantageContacts within the shipping industry would be a definite plus.Experience in remote working, working independently and collaborating with teams virtuallyA disciplined, structured, high-energy and self-driven approachSelf-motived and result orientedComfortable with strategic hunting of new customersExperience from strategic solution sales with insight into how businessdecisions are being madeTechnology savvy, passionate about digitalisation and digital sales channelsService-oriented attitude with excellent communication skillsStreet-smart and adaptable in different settings/environmentsWhy Marcura?
