Finance Business Partner - Role purpose:Apply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity.Reporting to the Senior Accountant, complete daily, weekly and monthly financial tasks that will culminate in the production of the forecast, management accounts and balance sheets.Part of a wider finance team who are responsible for financial advice, information and other financial input(e.g. business planning, budgeting, service level agreements, costing and market testing) to a range of servicesKey Responsibilities:Cover the full spectrum of accounting and bookkeeping work, including to trial balance, all viacomputerised systems. We will require proficiency in the following areas: Working with multiple companies. Monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations Accruals and prepayments Posting monthly journals as required Intercompany transfers Monthly sales invoicing as directed Sales Ledger control raising invoices, chasing payments and liaising with customers Accounts Payable Creating Bi-weekly & Monthly payment runs. Updating the fixed asset register monthly and posting depreciation journals as appropriate Assisting in ad hoc tasks/projects Preparation of individual Management Accounts & issuing to Senior Managers Coordinating monthly P&L performance review meetings with the General Manager and wideroperations team. Working with the General Manager to ensure profitability is maximised.Working with the FD to ensure Policies and SOPS are in place and being adhered to.Qualifications/ experience:Minimum 3 years practical accounting experience within a group of multiple companiesSolid accounting/ bookkeeping experience through to trial balance level and beyondAAT level 4 or beyond is highly desirableCompetent in Microsoft Dynamics & Sage 50 accountsAdvance Excel skills to include formulas, sums, VLOOKUPS, and filtersConfident in Stakeholder management and working across multifunctional teams to deliver objectivesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSalary from 40,000 per annum
