Youll be responsible for driving visibility, accuracy, and control over stock-related financialsworking closely with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams.Key Responsibilities:Own and manage inventory reporting and reconciliations, ensuring alignment between physical and financial recordsAnalyse stock movements, wastage, shrinkage, and identify trends and corrective actionsDevelop and report on inventory KPIs: turnover, days on hand, provisions, and write-offsLead month-end and year-end inventory close processes and reportingSupport physical inventory audits and cycle countsProvide forecasts, insights, and commentary on stock-related working capital and cash flow impactsPartner with operational stakeholders to support stock reduction plans and margin improvementContribute to system/process improvements around inventory controls and reportingAssist in stock valuation reviews related to external funding or audit processesCandidate Profile:Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or QBE with strong inventory exposureProven experience in retail, FMCG, or distribution sectors desirableConfident with financial reporting, controls, and analysis relating to stockStrong Excel skills and experience working with large ERP or stock management systemsAble to present complex data to non-finance stakeholdersDetail-oriented with commercial awareness and problem-solving mindsetWhats on Offer:Opportunity to step into a high-visibility role in a growing and fast-paced businessStrong leadership team who really listen and a collaborative working environmentCareer development opportunities and potential for progression
