Were excited to offer a UK Brand Ambassador role focused on developing Super Bock in the UK. Super Bock is Portugals #1 best-selling beer, and with fantastic brand awareness and an ever growing interest in world lager in the UK, this role will focus on developing the brand and will be instrumental in executing the sales and marketing strategy in the UK market. This role is primarily field sales, with some additional involvement on marketing strategy and events co-ordination with the brewery.Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.To apply for the Super Bock Sales Brand Ambassador role (salary negotiable dependent on experience, with a yearly bonus structure), please send your application with a CV and cover letter by the 16th of May.Job PurposeThe Super Bock Brand Ambassador has responsibility to drive profitable distribution, volume and awareness of the Super Bock brand in the UK on-trade channel. Reporting to the National Wholesale Manager with guidance from the Super Bock Country Manager, this role will work within the companys wholesale and direct distribution channels, winning listings, supporting volume and executing the UK brand strategy for Super Bock.The role will have regular contact with the Super Bock team in Portugal and will develop expertise in both the brand and the UK market for world lagers. The UK brand ambassador will be key to achieving Super Bocks ambitious plans in the UK.This will be a national role, offering exciting opportunities to travel and network with distributors and accounts across the country, so frequent UK travel must be expected, as well as occasional travel to the brewery in Porto, Portugal.Detail of the roles key responsibilities are outlined below:Key ResponsibilitiesDriving Brand Distribution in the Wholesale ChannelWorking alongside our wholesale partners, the Sales Team and their customers, the UK brand ambassador will strive to meet and exceed targets for both brand distribution and volume.Driving Brand Distribution in the James Clay Direct Delivered NetworkWorking alongside our James Clay Team and their customers, the UK brand ambassador will strive to meet and exceed targets for both brand distribution and volume.Supporting Key Customers and Lighthouse AccountsIrrespective of route to market, the UK brand ambassador will support key accounts and form a regular point of contact to ensure the brand is represented in the appropriate fashion in outlet, retain the distribution point and drive rate of sale, including the implementation of brand activations.Execution of Key Brand ObjectivesOutside of attaining distribution points and delivering volume, the UK brand ambassador will be involved in the delivery of strategic brand marketing objectives, supporting and coordinating events, festivals and other consumer facing activities to facilitate the implementation of the brands marketing plans in the UK. Super Bock is a brand with a keen focus on music and festivals across Europe, so an interest and knowledge of this sector in the UK is helpful, but not essential.Act as a point of contact between the UK and Portugal for Super Bock along with the Country Manager.With a close working relationship with both the UK James Clay team and Super Bock in Portugal, the UK brand ambassador will be an important link and resource for customers and sales team on all aspects of the brand as their expertise facilitates brand knowledge and growth. This role will involve overseas travel at times accompanying customer visits to the brewery.Effective Budget ManagementTo deliver objectives, a budget to invest into accounts will be available to the role. Effective management of this resource is important to success, so ability to track budgets and invest effectively will be critical.Your profile The ideal candidate will be a confident and organised salesperson, with experience and knowledge of the UK beer market and distributors. You will be a motivated self-starter, capable of working alone as well as alongside internal and external sales teams.
