This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, hands-on finance professional to make a significant impact and help shape the financial future of the business.Role OverviewThe Finance Manager will be responsible for all day-to-day finance operations and financial reporting. Working closely with the CFO and the wider business, the role will deliver insights that drive efficiency, improve profitability, and reduce financial risk. The post holder will manage the Finance Team and play a key role in supporting data-led, commercial decision-making across the company.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting for UK and GmbH company.Produce monthly consolidated management accounts in line with accounting standards and group policies.Manage and mentor the Finance Team, supporting their development and performanceAnalyse overheads and margins, delivering actionable insights to managementPrepare annual financial statements, manage external audits, and coordinate tax submissionsDevelop and maintain cash flow forecasts, financial plans and budgeting processesReport on financial KPIs and performance ensuring timely and accurate visibility to drive improvementsManage and support with funding or grant applicationsContinued improvement on automation and digital solutions to streamline financial processesEnsure compliance with statutory reporting, including VAT and other filingsContribute to broader business improvement initiatives across departmentsEssential Qualifications & ExperienceACCA, CIMA (or equivalent)Proven track record in a senior finance role, ideally in a manufacturing environmentTechnical Skills:Strong command of accounting standards and financial regulationsAdvanced Excel skills and strong ERP system experience (IFS preferred)Skilled in financial analysis, forecasting, and planningExperience managing and developing finance teamsClear and confident communicator, capable of engaging across all levelsProactive in identifying efficiencies and implementing changeWhy Join ABT?Manage and develop a high-performing finance functionWork closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environmentBe part of a company that embraces technology and continuous improvementPlease note: We do not accept unsolicited CVs or contact from recruitment agencies.
