This hybrid role offers flexibility for remote work while remaining closely connected to operational sites. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of contracts, ensuring full compliance, performance optimisation, and smooth collaboration with contractors and internal stakeholders.This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid mechanical background and experience in oil & gas and social housing industry to make a real impact. You'll play a crucial role in a smaller, agile team where you'll take ownership of supplier and contractor relationships, feed directly into the Head of Operations, and drive delivery on the ground.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all contractual obligations and performance across assigned projectsLead on contract negotiation, compliance, and dispute resolutionBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teamsBe the key point of contact for supply teams and contractors in a smaller team structureEngage with on-site teams to ensure delivery targets are met and information is accurately reportedFeed into the Head of Operations, supporting planning and strategic decisionsTackle performance challenges confidently and drive continuous improvementRepresent the company in contractor discussions with a high level of professionalism and authorityRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong background in contracts management, particularly within mechanical servicesExperience with oil & gas installations and social housing projects is highly desirableConfident in managing supplier relationships and resolving contractual issuesProven ability to lead teams and influence contractors and site operativesResilient, proactive, and capable of handling pressure and tough conversationsExcellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of legal frameworks related to contracts is advantageousDegree in Business, Law, Construction Management, or a related field preferredWhat We OfferA competitive salary and bonus structureCar allowanceFlexible hybrid working arrangementsClear progression path and training opportunitiesA dynamic, supportive team environmentInvolvement in high-impact projects with plenty of new business coming in
