Our client, based in Bury, is currently recruiting for a Multi-Trade Plumber & Carpenter on a rolling three-month contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is between £23 - £25 per hour on a CIS basis. The ideal candidate will experience as a Plumber/Carpenter, but also be able to carry out the associated multi-skilled duties, such as Plastering, Carpentry, and Tiling. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Completing responsive plumbing duties, including changing taps, repairing sinks, fixing leaks and fitting bathrooms Carrying out multi-skilled refurbishments on void properties, preparing them for relet Dealing directly with tenants, advising on the allotted time taken to complete the repair Using a PDA to log when the required repair is completed Carrying out all associated works, including patch plastering, basic carpentry and tiling where required Experience required: Experience required in Social Housing Experience working with customers within housing Experience delivering responsive repairs Extensive experience as a Plumber/Carpenter Rewards and Benefits: Van + Fuel Card Tools 1pm finish on a Friday Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday - Thursday (08:00 - 16:30) Friday (08...
