They are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated General Operative to join their growing team. Position: General Operative Location: Keelby, Lincolnshire Hourly: £12.25 per hour Contract: Temporary, with the potential to become permanent after 12 weeks About the Role As a General Operative, you'll play a key role in maintaining product quality and ensuring efficient production in a fast-paced environment. You'll follow all health and safety protocols, wear the correct PPE, and use safe manual handling techniques. Daily tasks will include keeping your work area clean, properly storing unused products, and reporting any equipment issues to your team captain. You'll also support daily production targets, help maintain accurate paperwork for traceability and assist with basic troubleshooting when needed. Key Responsibilities * Ensure the quality and efficiency of production throughout your shift * Follow all health and safety procedures to minimise risk * Store and record unused products correctly to prevent contamination * Keep your workstation clean by following the “clean as you go” policy * Report any equipment issues to your team captain promptly * Always wear the appropriate PPE * Use the correct manual handling techniques * Help maintain smooth production line operation * Support accurate documentation for product traceability * Identify and assist in resolving operational issues Working Hours * Full-Time * This is a 5-day operating week, with recurring shifts across consistent weekdays * Day Shift: Monday to Friday – 5:30am to 2:30pm * Evening Shift: Monday to Thursday 2:30pm to 1:30am You must be available full-time to cover all scheduled shifts as required. Physical Requirements & Work Environment * Lifting, carrying, standing, and walking for extended periods * Working in a dusty environment – not recommended for individuals with respiratory or breathing conditions * Facilities can be warm in the summer and cold in the winter, depending on the season. * Nut products are present on site – not suitable for individuals with nut allergies Qualifications & requirements * Experience in an FMCG environment is preferred but not essential * A full UK driver’s licence is required due to the location. * Must be available to work full-time – this role is not suitable for part-time applicants Ready to Take the Next Step?
