This is a unique opportunity to join a prestigious and professional private household team (c. 30 employees) in Mayfair as their first People & Talent Manager . Youll be at the heart of a small but high-performing leadership team, shaping the employee experience across the board - from recruitment and onboarding to compliance, payroll, culture and beyond. This is a hands-on role with real strategic influence , perfect for someone who enjoys variety and values discretion. What Youll Be Doing: Own the Recruitment & Onboarding process from job specs to smooth, professional induction experiences Be a trusted advisor to the Principals, department heads on employee relations, performance management and HR best practice Lead all aspects of HR compliance, record-keeping , and HRIS (Deputy) Manage monthly payroll and benefits pensions, private medical insurance and more Support training, development, and performance reviews across a collaborative team Champion a positive, inclusive culture and high levels of team engagement What You Bring: Proven HR generalist experience , ideally in boutique or discreet settings (private households, high end 5 hospitality /hotel environments, time spent in the luxury sector with exposure to HNW individuals) Confident advising at senior level, with excellent judgement and unflappable professionalism You must have hands-on experience managing payroll , benefits, and all aspects of HR admin Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - tact & diplomacy is key A calm operator with a highly organised approach , you''ll have an eye for detail and a discreet working style A sense of pace and urgency and ruthless rigour and efficiency You are tech savvy and comfortable using HR software Whats In It for You: Competitive salary: up to 75,000 (DOE) Discretionary performance-related bonus Private medical insurance, pension plan & holiday Hybrid working - onsite presence needed 2-3 days a week, but some weeks might require someone onsite every day, flexibility on this point is key Ongoing professional development and training opportunities The chance to work in a close-knit, values-driven team supporting a distinguished private household If you''re looking for a meaningful, high-impact HR role where no two days are the same, Id love to hear from you.
