Position Summary Rock Face is already in high growth and to continue the strong trajectory we are building out a high functioning commercial team both to manage and grow the existing account base, as well as develop new business opportunities, in the UK and internationally. We are looking for someone who is ready to start their career in a fast paced and ambitious commercial environment. There will be a huge amount of opportunity to learn, and lots of hands-on experience working with major retailers in the UK & globally. Position Overview: Key Responsibilities: Account administration Responsibility for retail account administration tasks, inclusive of; new line forms, promotional forms, promotional tracking, competitor activity tracking Supporting the Senior Commercial manager with customer requests Data Analysis: Ownership of our sales tracking files, ensuring data is up to date and accurate. Share insightful analysis on this data with the wider team to allow us to make informed commercial decisions Promotional analysis: Utilise EPOS data to track how our promotions are tracking vs our forecast, sharing analysis to support accurate forecasting and findings to ensure we execute strong promotional plans Supporting Customer Meetings: Working closely with the Senior Commercial Manager to prepare for customer meetings, this will involve ensuring samples are ordered and decks are prepared with compelling commercial insights Attend customer meetings, learning key account and relationship management skills, and in time the opportunity to present to the retailer trading teams Range Review Preparation: At key times of year, there are opportunities for the brand to grow its presence in store by launching new products, or increasing the space our current range holds. Your role will be pivotal in contributing the supporting data and insights as to why the retailers should grow Rock Face as a brand Store Visits: It is incredibly important that we understand how Rock Face looks in stores, you will conduct regular store visits across our customer base. Taking photos, reviewing how our availability, POS & packaging look. This is also a key opportunity to review our competitive sets activity. You will track store visits and share updates with the wider team 6. Ad Hoc Commercial Tasks: As a small team, we all get stuck in across a number of areas in the business, no 2 weeks will be the same. You may be joining brand events, sampling product, supporting new business pitches and many things in between. The ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to learn across the business!
