EY331 Business Development Account ManagerLocation: Worcester (office-based with travel to customer locations)Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission (plus contributory pension and free on-site parking)Overview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Business Development Account Manager on behalf of one of our clients. This role focuses on the acquisition of new business and the re-engagement of lapsed clients. The successful candidate will play a key part in growing revenue and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel. Duties and Responsibilities:Drive new business development and re-engage lapsed accountsAchieve monthly sales targets and meet performance KPIsPresent and position services to prospects and existing customersBuild and maintain strong client relationships for long-term retentionUnderstand customer needs and tailor solutions accordinglyCollaborate with marketing to maximise outreach and lead generationMaintain accurate CRM records and update sales systemsPrepare accurate customer quotes and apply pricing models correctlyProduce and execute a business plan to support new business objectivesEnsure compliance with internal policies, standards, and best practicesSkills and Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of successful B2B sales or business development experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong initiative and ability to work independentlyReliable, well-organised, and professional in all aspectsResilient and empathetic approach to salesSmart appearance and a positive attitudeCompetent in using CRM systems and business softwareExperience with solution sales Desirable:5+ years’ experience in a similar B2B roleStrong process compliance and attention to detailConsultative, relationship-based sales styleInnovative and proactive mindsetSeeks continual growth and developmentBenefits:Uncapped CommissionCycle to work schemeFree eye tests and flu jabs Family friendly policiesHybrid working (after 6 months)Additional holiday after 5 years service 33 days holiday including bank holidaysFree parkingPersonal / Professional developmentCompany away days and events
