Bonus 6% non-contractual bonusYou will manage your own diary with travel 3 days a week to visit care homesThe roleYou will provide developmental insight and support to unlock potential within local sites, in line with the overall strategic ambition, values and culture of the organisation.This role will develop and oversee centralised learning systems and approaches (including feedback mechanisms) to embed learning and development across the organisation from entry level roles through to board leadership.This role is a key partner of the Senior Management TeamDutiesProvide leadership and a strategic approach to our learning and developmentDevelop a framework of learning to ensure all elements of the quality service we offer are supportedLead on the management and development of our learning management system (LMS), ensuring that appropriate training courses, resources and data can be stored, collated and reported on from itDevelop and deliver a range of training resourcesRegularly attend the various care homes to provide face to face learning and developmentIn collaboration with appropriate departmental leads, review and procure appropriate third-party specialist learning resources, courses and tools to ensure a culture of continuous learning is embedded and supported across the organisationDevelop a holistic approach to talent development and succession planning with approaches such as apprenticeshipsProvide mechanisms to gather quantitative and qualitative feedback from across the organisationContribute to specific projects of work relating to the wider organisationEssential experience neededCIPD qualified or qualified by equivalent demonstrable experienceExperience of developing and delivering a range of face-to-face, online and blended learning approaches to learning and development to achieve positive people outcomesExperience of running a small learning and development function that operates across a dispersed geographyKnowledge of equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging approaches, having used these elements to contribute to a successful employee experience and increase engagementExperience of managing a range of internal and external relationships and stakeholders to achieve improved employee experienceEligibility to live and work in the UK
