National Savings and Investments (NS&I) are welcoming applications from experienced Business Change Managers looking to make a difference. Working within our Business Transformation Programme which sits within our Business Delivery & Transformation directorate you will support the delivery of our transformation.NS&I has embarked on a re-procurement of its outsourced business process services and is now in the middle of its Transformation Programme. This presents an exciting opportunity for our business and for those involved in designing and delivering our future ways of working.The Business Change team help to mitigate the risks and challenges which may arise while delivering and implementing change, not just on projects but supporting the wider organisation. In this role you will lead and manage key business change initiatives to support the effective implementation of transformation projects.You will work closely with the programme team and wider internal business stakeholders to oversee business readiness activities. Working in a team of Business Change Managers you will be the bridge between the business and the transformation programme. This role offers the opportunity to drive improvements in NS&Is ways of working, delivering new capabilities and outcomes aligned to the transformation plan. Person specification Essential experience Experienced in managing business change in a complex programme environment, preferably in financial services sector. Experienced at stakeholder management; proven track record of engaging and influencing stakeholders and colleagues at all levels in the organisation. Experience of creating and delivering change impact assessments, supporting business readiness planning, overcoming resistance or barriers to change. Essential skills Capable communicator, able to develop communication plans and deliver messages using a variety of communication channels with the ability to adapt to different end users. Ability to design and deliver meetings and facilitate workshops as required. Competent in the use of Microsoft office applications. Ability to interpret, review and challenge data sets. A specific, accredited, Business Change Management qualification (such as APMG) at practitioner level. Or a specific Business Change Management qualification at foundation with a willingness to complete the practitioner qualification within one year.
