As a business they focus on geotechnical and structural engineering, and products supporting housing developments across London and the South East.Person specifications:They are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to manage the design of the projects, liaising with the sub-contractors, design consultants and internal clients to deliver the projects on time and to budget. This is not a design focused role, this is a Project management / liaison role for someone coming from a Structural Engineering background.This role will suit a Structural engineer who has experience or working on, and managing, a range of structural projects in the UK and wishes to move away from the day-to-day technical design aspects of consultancy work.Job responsibilities include:The role will require you to manage the design and co-ordination of the engineering works, making recommendations to clients, consultancies and contractors whilst ensuring they are delivered upon through the process. This is a cradle to grave role with large elements of self-autonomy whilst working within a supportive and developing team. There will be an opportunity to, on occasion, develop geo-technical designs with the in house design team approaching it from the position of a structural engineer
