Function / Area: Exposure & Catastrophe Management Reporting to: Head of Exposure and Catastrophe Management Position Summary We are looking for an ECM Analyst to work in our London team. Responsible for reporting and exposure management of the non-natural catastrophe risk portfolio across the all CNA Hardy lines of business. This includes ensuring our models and methodologies are sufficiently robust and appropriately validated. Key Responsibilities Produce and develop management information in relation to non-natural catastrophe aggregating risks. This includes Cyber and Liability classes as well as man-made risk on property lines. Generate and maintain internally derived and externally specified scenarios for non-nat cat underwriting risks within our portfolio, including RDSs, risk appetites Contribute towards various external reporting, including RDS, Standard Formula, Pool Returns, etc. Ensure data completeness in our portfolio to enable quantification of levels of risk Assist in the identification and development of tools and methodologies to measure and control non-natural catastrophe aggregating risks Contribute towards Exposure and Catastrophe Management Group and any working groups set up under its remit Develop and maintain appropriate procedures and documentation. Assist with system upgrade testing process as required to ensure new releases comply with functionality and operational requirements, as well as to maximise efficiency of reporting processes. Support the Reinsurance team with data requirements for Non Nat Cat reinsurance placement as required. Participate in applicable model and scenario validation and including undertaking sensitivity analysis, adjusting output to ensure model completeness and appropriateness to the CNA Hardy portfolio. Where appropriate, contribute towards man-made catastrophe event response Assist management with ad hoc ECM management projects Comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and ensure, at a level appropriate to the position, that appropriate measures are in place to ensure this compliance May perform additional duties as assigned.
