They operate globally with multiple branches; providing a full range of products and services to various industries. They have a focus on reliability and environmental friendliness. The organisation has a solid order book and can provide role stability as they have a long serving history with their clients.As a result of increase in work and a busy order book they are seeking a multiskilled mechanical fitter to join their team.THE ROLEYou will overhaul and repair Graco/Mastic/Sealant PumpsYou will assemble and install mechanical componentsYou will clean, and rebuild pumps and assess any other repairs requiredYou will manufacture hoses, although training will be providedYou will use a variety of hand and power tools to strip and reassemble various pump and hosesFabrication and Welding skills would be advantageousYou will check the complete assembly for alignment, dimensions and qualityYou will assist with production and build of fabricated assemblies of varying size and complexityYou will observe company H&S policy and comply the company's safety rulesTHE PERSONYou will be time-served and have an engineering background/qualificationsYou will have you own hand tools; and power tools are available on siteYou need to be available to work overtime and weekends – this is a must for the roleYou need a full UK driving licence for this roleYou will have good communication skillsYou must have a good understanding of engineering drawings and standardsYou will be comfortable working outside in all elements of weatherTO APPLYPlease apply for this position and your CV will go direct to our Engineering Consultant Harry Mann who is leading the search.
