One of the most beautiful event hire destinations in Berkshire is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to support the department in achieving revenue goals by assisting with the development and execution of sales strategies, identifying business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with clients. Along with a salary of up to 28,000 per annum, you will receive a range of benefits including a pension scheme, employee discount and free onsite parking.Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.This role focuses on both business development and administrative support to ensure the hotel meets and exceeds its targets.As Assistant Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:Assisting the Sales Manager in planning and implementing strategies to maximise revenue.Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in corporate, group, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and leisure segments.Conducting regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections to promote the hotels services and facilities.Responding to client inquiries promptly and professionally, preparing proposals and contracts as needed.Maintaining an accurate client database and ensuring effective tracking of leads, opportunities, and conversions using CRM tools.Assisting in the coordination of promotional events, trade shows, and familiarisation trips.Preparing and presenting reports and forecasts to management.Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure alignment on promotional campaigns and brand messaging.Providing support in handling VIP accounts and long-term business partnerships.Ensuring all customer interactions reflect the hotels commitment to service excellence and guest satisfaction.Were looking for an Assistant Sales Manager with:Bachelors degree in hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales software (e.g., Opera)Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.This is a full-time role working 45 hours per week.To apply for this role as Assistant Sales Manager, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.Candidate Source Ltd is an advertising agency.
