Manpower is currently looking for HGV 1 drivers to work with one of our clients based in Edinburgh.Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.Monday to Friday16.00 P/H + Overtime - Weekly PayAccess to Manpower benefits, training and candidate rewardsSpecific tasks will include:Overseeing the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises.Ensuring Proofs of Delivery are signed & returnedCheck the load security & weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift.Ensure that the delivery vehicles are always maintained to Company standards in terms of reporting of any defects to the vehicle.Ensuring vehicles are in a safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use & are operated in a safe manner.Essential Skills for the role:To hold a valid HGV Class 1 (with no more than 6 points)Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph cardKnowledge of working time directiveMulti-Drop experienceInterested in this role?
