Class 2 DriverExperience, qualification, and soft skills, have you got everything required to succeed in this opportunity Find out below.Location: IrlamShifts: Monday to Friday, start times from 6amPay Rate: 33,000 per annumJob Type: Temporary to PermanentAbout the Role:A well-established flooring distribution company is seeking Class 2 (CAT C) Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join their team in Irlam.This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy manual handling, including lifting, unloading carpets and flooring products, and handballing pallet goods.Drivers will be responsible for delivering flooring products to retail stores and high street locations This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term career stability and progression.As part of the client's recycling programme Class 2 drivers have the opportunity to earn more through their Tube return scheme, ( approx 75 extra per week)As this is a temp to Perm role the first 15 weeks will be paid weekly, this is a job and finish role ( 45 hrs per week guarantee )Key Responsibilities:Driving long or short distancesMulti-drop between 15 to 25 drops per dayMaintain Good Customer service + direct client communication -Lifting and carrying goods , loading and unloading, a lot of heavy liftingMaking sure loads are safely securedFollowing traffic reports and adapting routes if necessaryCompleting delivery paperwork or Electronic AppComply with Driver Hour Tacho and road RegulationsDrive in an efficient and economical mannerCarrying out daily vehicle checks (start + end of shift)Report and correctly any accident or incidentRequirements:A valid Class 2 (C) License and Driver CPC card. - new passes accepted!A valid Digital Tachograph card.Ability to lift and carry goods heavy goodsExperience of working within an Transport (warehouse and distribution) environment.Working knowledge of distribution environment and driver's hour regulations.If you're ready to join a growing company that values your experience and hard work, apply now and become part of our team!TPBN1_UKTJ
