HGV HIAB Driver - Thurrock Location: Thurrock, London, United Kingdom Contract Type: Permanent Salary: 38K per year + overtime at time and a half Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm (40 hours per week) About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced HGV HIAB Driver to join their team in Thurrock. This is a hands-on role responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading, delivery, and collection of modular buildings and containers to various customer sites. Key Responsibilities Safely drive and operate HGV vehicles equipped with HIAB cranes Load and unload modular units using the HIAB crane Deliver and collect modular buildings and containers from customer locations Ensure full compliance with road safety and transport regulations Accurately complete all delivery and collection paperwork Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally Report any vehicle defects promptly Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations What You'll Need Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 Driver Licence with proven HIAB operating experience Qualified lorry loader operator certification (CSCS/ALLMI) is essential Strong knowledge of EU driver hours regulations, Working Time Directive, and tachograph rules Commitment to safety and excellent customer service Why Join?
