PARTS MANAGER Great opportunity for a Parts Manager who has management level experience with the ability to deliver outcomes. Location of the Parts Manager / Group Parts Manager / Automotive Parts Manager: Between Reading and Maidenhead areas Salary for the Parts Manager: Up to 45,000.00 basic salary plus 10,000.00 Bonus (OTE 55,000.00) PLUS company vehicle, fuel card, laptop and phone Hours of work for the Parts Manager / Group Parts Manager / Automotive Parts Manager: Basic hours of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday plus occasional Saturday morning paid at 1.5 rate Benefits: 25 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays Additional leave with service loyalty (3yrs / 5yrs / 7yrs / 10yrs) Holiday+ Purchase Scheme Statutory Pension Scheme Accident Policy for all employees Uniform/PPE supplied Free Class IV MOT per year Paternity pay Full 2 weeks Company uniform provided Cycle to work scheme Parking on site As the Parts Manager you will be responsible for 2 sites between Reading and Maidenhead locations, you will lead your parts teams to increase efficiencies , productivity and performance. You will be responsible for managing and growing the parts sales and ensuring customers both internal and external receive first class customer service. You will need proven experience with people management and leadership, extensive parts and purchasing knowledge with demonstrable results of implementing effective business strategies. Responsibilities for the Parts Manager / Group Parts Manager / Automotive Parts Manager: Develop and implement a parts sales strategy (e.g. increasing the number and value of customers) for the Branch in agreement with the Ops Director Ensure parts purchase, parts sales and profit margin targets are achieved Promote parts sales and maintain the customer database Conduct customer visits to increase the customer base and maintain relationships with existing customers To be continuously and consistently conscious of customer needs, providing at all times the highest level of courtesy and service, and to promote customer satisfaction and dealership manufacturer ratings To lead, motivate, coach, appraise and develop the team of parts advisors and drivers to achieving their personal objectives, required accreditations, that is in line with your departments goals Supervise and control the daily activities of the Parts Department staff, develop a team environment to ensure a high level of customer service is offered and maintained Participate in personal development and attend training courses both internally and externally Effectively control the parts surcharge, warranty, contract maintenance and PDR programmes, ensuring that all returns are made within the guidelines Control all stock ordering and stock checking Ensure that stock-turn and obsolescence are in line with targets Process any parts related enquiries giving the correct identification and information required Maintain up-dated displays at all times, providing high quality merchandising of parts and accessories Ensure that all procedures for handling cash, credit / debit card accounts are adhered to in accordance with policies To be fully aware of and adhere to the usual trading terms and account procedures Maintain the Parts Department standards, adhere to and uphold all ISO & Brand audit requirements Comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, COSHH requirements, company policies and standard procedures at all times Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner Present a professional image continually.
