Site Manager – Civils/Utilities (South of England – Travel Required)Location: Field-based across the South of England (must be based south of Nottingham)Salary: £40,000-£50,000 + Benefits + Van + Fuel CardIndustry: EV Charging, Utilities, Civil EngineeringAbout the RoleMy client is looking for an experienced Site Managers with a civils or utilities background to oversee the delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects across the South of England.This role is field-based and requires frequent travel across the region with regular overnight stays (accommodation and expenses fully covered). You’ll be managing multiple sites concurrently, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery and acting as the on-the-ground lead for each project.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the green energy transition while working on technically engaging, high-visibility infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesSite Setup & Mobilisation: Ensure sites are properly set up, including crew inductions and job briefings.Project Oversight: Oversee 2–3 active sites at a time, ensuring works are delivered to spec, safely, and on schedule.Travel & Coordination: Travel across the South of England as needed. Overnight stays (per week) will be required and fully expensed.Communication: Maintain daily contact with site teams and contractors, even when not physically present.Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve challenges to keep projects on track.What We’re Looking ForExperience in Civils or Utilities Projects: Ideally with EV infrastructure exposure, though backgrounds in highways, cabling, streetworks, or other utilities are also relevant.Independent & Proactive Approach: Able to lead and deliver across multiple remote sites with limited supervision.Qualifications (Preferred): SMSTS, Streetworks (NRSWA), SHEA, CSCS – although attitude, safety mindset, and practical knowledge are key.Flexibility to Travel: Based in the South of England with willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.What’s on OfferCompetitive base salary (£40,000-£50,000)Discretionary bi-annual bonusPrivate healthcare (Vitality)Company pensionCPD/training investmentCompany van and fuel cardHotel and subsistence expenses covered for overnight staysRegular company events and team cultureIf this is of interest, please apply directly.
