Our client based in Brigg, Lincolnshire is a well-established business that provides packaging solutions into the healthcare sector. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Despatch Operator (with forklift licence) to join their team as soon as possible!Have you got the right qualifications and skills for this job Find out below, and hit apply to be considered.The role is a permanent opportunity, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days followed by 2 nights) with shift times of 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am.The annual salary for the role is 29,989.56, along with additional benefits which include quarterly bonus, 20 days holiday, life assurance, company pension scheme, employee assistance programme and access to the occupational health platform.Please note, to be considered for this role you must hold a forklift licence and have experience of using SAP operating system.Duties of the role will include:Accurately pick orders following picking list and prepare goods for deliveryAccurately complete manual goods in/outCarry out correct identification of materials by labelReceive deliveries and distribute accordinglyFollowing receiving in inspection plans to ensure quality of supplied productAccurately complete and distribute despatch paperwork and documentationSafely operate counterbalance and reach forklift truck and pallet truckMaintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safetyParticipate in stock inventory and check as requiredWrap reels as defined by specificationTransfer all finished products onto shipping pallets using the pallet invertorOperate core cutter machine to cut cores as requiredRemove litter and manufacturing waste from designated areas throughout the plant, segregate and organise into correct skips ready for disposalMaintain housekeeping standards at all timesLoad and unload transport as requiredIt is also essential that you drive and have your own transport, as the site is in a very remote location with no public transport options nearby.Please apply online in the first instance, send your CV to or call Barker Ross Lincoln on 01522 551910 today!Barker Ross Group values diversity and promotes equality.
